Venetian Mask
To make this mask, I had to place wet plaster strips on my friends face. Then once that was dry I made the beak with chicken wire. I then covered that with the same plaster strips until I was content with the shape. When that was dry enough I covered the entire mask with white glue.
While waiting for that to dry, I had to think of how I would paint the mask. I got the idea of white and black for the pictures I took with the shadow on one side.
The painting was easy and fun. I just made it up along the way. Once the painting done, I glued felt on the back to make wearing the mask more comfortable.
